Children's Home

A safe, loving home for 32 rescued children — built on faith, family, and the love of Christ.

Home & Family

A Home for Every Child

In 2011, Lawrence and Francine Carruthers opened the first children's home in Kitale, Kenya — welcoming 32 of the most vulnerable children they could find: orphans, abandoned children, and those rescued from dangerous situations.

The home provides more than shelter. It provides family. Children wake to devotions, share meals together, do homework around a common table, and grow up knowing they are loved — not just by staff, but by God.

"God sets the lonely in families…" — Psalm 68:6

Every child in the home attends school, receives medical care, and is mentored spiritually. The goal is not simply to house children — but to raise whole, confident, God-fearing young people who will go out and transform their communities.
