Other Ministries

Reaching every corner of need — in prisons, in villages, and beneath the ground.

Beyond the Children's Home

A Ministry Without Walls

Out of the Ashes Kenya does not stop at one building. From prison cells to remote villages, from underground wells to community gardens — we go where the need is greatest.

Prison Ministry

Bringing Hope Behind Bars

Our prison ministry team visits correctional facilities across Trans-Nzoia County, bringing the Gospel, Bibles, and practical support to incarcerated men and women. We believe in rehabilitation, dignity, and second chances.

The programme includes weekly Bible studies, discipleship groups, and vocational training to equip prisoners for reintegration into society. Many have given their lives to Christ through this ministry — and several have become community leaders after release.

"I was in prison and you visited me…" — Matthew 25:36
Clean Water

Drilling Wells, Saving Lives

Access to clean water remains one of the greatest crises in rural Kenya. Our well-drilling programme has brought safe drinking water to communities that previously relied on contaminated rivers and muddy streams — sources that cause disease, childhood death, and hours of wasted time each day.

Each borehole or protected spring transforms an entire community. Women are freed from dangerous water collection journeys. Children stop missing school. Disease rates drop. Hope rises.

Food Distribution

No One Should Go Hungry

During seasons of drought, economic hardship, or crisis, Out of the Ashes Kenya mobilises food distribution across our region. We partner with local churches and community leaders to identify the most vulnerable households and deliver essential food packages.

A food package — containing maize flour, beans, cooking oil, and salt — provides a family with nutrition for approximately two weeks. Every distribution is paired with prayer and community encouragement.

Village Outreach

Taking the Gospel to Every Village

Our outreach teams travel by foot, motorbike, and vehicle to reach villages across Trans-Nzoia County — sharing the Gospel, praying for the sick, and demonstrating the love of Christ through practical service.

Open-Air Evangelism

Public Gospel meetings in village centres, market places, and schools — thousands have heard the message of salvation.

Home Visits

Teams visit sick and elderly villagers in their homes, bringing prayer, food, and practical assistance.

Bible Distribution

New Testaments and children's Bibles distributed freely across the region to those who have never owned a Bible.
